Help 4th graders master math facts faster with exciting live rounds focused on quick recall and confident problem solving.
MathIt turns math facts practice for 4th graders into a fast, motivating challenge they will want to play again and again. Live multiplayer rounds keep 9- and 10-year-olds focused as they build automatic recall with multiplication, basic division, and mixed-operation facts. It is a fun way to strengthen fluency under pressure while making everyday practice feel like a game.

Mixed practice is harder than it looks, and usefully so. When every question is addition, a child can switch off and apply one procedure; when the operation changes each round, they have to read the problem first. That reading step is exactly what breaks down in word problems and on tests, so drilling it deliberately is worth the extra difficulty.
Fourth grade extends the tables to 12 × 12 and puts them to work — multi-digit multiplication, division with remainders, factors and multiples, and the first serious fraction work. Fractions are where the year is won or lost, and they lean directly on multiplication: finding common denominators is a times-table exercise wearing a disguise.
4th graders are expected to combine operations on multi-digit numbers and estimate before calculating; after that comes mixed operations with multi-digit numbers, and estimation.
Watch for answering without estimating first, so a wildly wrong result goes unnoticed.
