1. Introduction

By accessing or using the MathIt application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the service.

2. Service Description

MathIt is a real-time multiplayer math game where 2-5 players compete in timed rounds of math equations across three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard). The app is available on iOS and Android and includes features such as room creation, QR code sharing, global leaderboards, and in-app subscriptions.

3. User Accounts

MathIt uses anonymous authentication. No registration with email or password is required. By using the app, you agree to provide an appropriate display name that does not contain offensive, misleading, or harmful content.

4. Data Collection

We collect anonymous identifiers, display names, game scores, device information, and language preferences. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

MathIt offers an optional ad-free subscription ($0.99/month or $5.99/year). All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google per their respective refund policies. MathIt does not process or store payment information directly.

6. Advertisements

Free-tier users will see interstitial advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ad frequency is limited (currently every 3 games). Subscribing to the ad-free plan removes all advertisements.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the app or servers
  • Exploit bugs, cheats, or automation tools to gain unfair advantages
  • Use offensive or inappropriate display names
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the system or other users' data

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and branding associated with MathIt are the property of the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

MathIt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Maximum liability is limited to the amounts you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive to keep MathIt available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia.
